Implementing Academic Monitoring
What is a curated workshop series?
A set of workshops deliberately designed and sequenced to build skills in one topic, from the fundamentals to advanced techniques. Through community, discussion, and multiple opportunities to practice, teachers hone new strategies they can use right away.
Description
Implementing Academic Monitoring focuses on the art of analyzing student work and sharing feedback in the moment while students are working on their assigned task. This learning series covers how to create and analyze exemplars to determine what to look for in student work, how to give in-the-moment feedback to students as they are working, and how to adjust instruction if needed in real-time. By the end of the series, educators will know how to circulate the classroom intentionally to accelerate student learning.
