Facilitating Meaningful Class Discussions
Workshop
Academic Rigor
Facilitating Meaningful Class Discussions focuses on how to intentionally leverage student voices in all grades and content areas to increase the cognitive work done by all students. The goal of any discussion is to get students to practice thinking about the course material—however, facilitating discussion effectively takes skill and practice. This workshop focuses on how to lead a discussion through planning questions and teaching students how to engage in meaningful and rigorous discourse.
