Teaching Multilingual Students in General Education focuses on strategies general educators can use to ensure that multilingual learners can access grade-level content. In this session, teachers will explore the Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP) model to design data-informed accommodations and modifications that address the needs of language learners. Teachers get a chance to apply the SIOP model to provided scenarios.
