Classroom Culture 2: Implementing Positive Behavior Strategies
Description
This workshop series equips teachers with strategies to set and reinforce classroom expectations in a clear, proactive manner. Participants will learn to effectively communicate instructions to students, use positive behavior strategies to help students meet expectations, and practice empathy and redirection when students need extra guidance. Through hands-on practice, educators will develop skills to foster a positive environment that promotes student success, accountability, trust, and mutual respect.
What is a curated workshop series?
A set of workshops deliberately designed and sequenced to build skills in one topic, from the fundamentals to advanced techniques. Through community, discussion, and multiple opportunities to practice, teachers hone new strategies they can use right away.
