Setting Expectations focuses on making directions clear to proactively and positively set students up for success. Teachers will identify the characteristics of communicating instructions effectively, and then engage in a practice protocol to sharpen their ability to deliver directions clearly.

- Practice delivering directions in a calm, neutral, yet assertive tone
