Academic Rigor
Using Student Work to Guide Discourse focuses on the technique of “Show Call” or how to use student work during whole-group instruction as a tool to deepen learning. Teachers will practice how to lead a class discussion about students' work in a way that builds independent learners and promotes rigor. Show Call is a responsive technique that can be used in real-time or in subsequent lessons to advance achievement.
