Aperio 2016 Lineup Announced
Aperio: The Relay Research Collaborative kicks off its second season next week.
Aperio was launched in 2015 to increase the visibility of research conducted by Relay faculty and colleagues, to create a venue for research faculty to receive feedback on their research, and to nurture the development of diverse ideas and perspectives among faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
Members of the Relay community are invited to attend the series in person at our New York campus, or by teleconference. A reception will follow each event. Descriptions of the events that are open to the public are listed below. April 12th, 1:00pm
"Empathy and Its Implications for Education”
Dr. Patrick Comstock, Assistant Professor
Dr. Comstock will address the concept of empathy, how it works, and educational activities that are thought to develop it in teachers and students.
May 6th, 5:30pm
"Charter Schools and Traditional Public Schools: Overcoming Challenges in Cross-Sector Collaboration"
