The Relay Approach
Relay is proud to have supported and developed hundreds of educators in Colorado over the past several years. We are certifying and training aspiring educators in both district and charter schools in Denver, including as part of Denver Public Schools’ (DPS) innovative paraprofessional-to-teacher pipeline initiative. We also place a great emphasis on certifying educators of color and training all educators in culturally-responsive practices. All aspiring educators earn a Culturally & Linguistically Diverse (CLD) endorsement on their license.

Relay has nearly 140 experienced supportive faculty across our campuses. Here is one example of a faculty member who teaches and advises our Colorado students:

- Quinn Terry, Program Director for Relay Colorado
Quinn Terry is the Program Director for Relay Colorado. She began her teaching career as a 2003 Teach for America Corps Member. She has a Master of Arts in Education from Regis University, is a Reading Specialist, and has a Certificate of Linguistically Diverse Instruction and LDE Endorsement from the Colorado Department of Education. Quinn also instructs Core Pedagogy and designs clinical practice experiences for Colorado’s pre-service teachers.

Teach For America
Relay partners with Teach For America-Colorado to provide high-quality training, coaching, and support to both TFA Launch Fellows and TFA Corps Members. Launch Fellows enroll in the Relay Teaching Residency to develop the skills and experiences needed to become effective teachers-of-record. Corps Members can choose to enroll in Relay's Alternative Teacher Program or Master of Arts in Teaching (with certification) program.
