Using Models and Think Alouds to Promote Rigor


Using Models and Think Alouds to Promote Rigor focuses on how teachers can leverage meta-cognition and modeling to demonstrate for students what it looks like and sounds like to think deeply about the course content. This strategy is most often associated with literacy instruction but can be applied across disciplines. In this workshop, teachers will analyze examples of strong think alouds and get a chance to practice within the context of provided case studies.
