Unlocking Lesson Planning

To ensure  all students receive the best opportunity to learn standards-based, grade-level content, intentional planning is critical. In this series, we define and guide educators through practices that will support them in addressing academic gaps while maintaining a high bar for learning. Educators explore ways to proactively modify lesson plans for learner variability, analyze standards and texts to support learning outcomes, and use exemplars to guide rigorous instruction. With these foundations in place, teachers are prepared to address the academic needs of students in their lesson delivery.
